A little about me

Hi, I am Progress, mum to the most wonderful little girl, and the new heart behind Rumi and Sol.

When I became a mum, I fell head over heels in love with motherhood. But I also quickly discovered something that so many of us know all too well. Breastfeeding is beautiful, but finding clothes that actually worked for nursing while still making me feel like myself? Nearly impossible! I grew frustrated constantly having to choose between clothes that made me feel confident and beautiful, and clothes that were practical for feeding my baby. That experience stayed with me, and I made it my goal to one day own a breastfeeding friendly clothing brand. So, when the opportunity came up to purchase Rumi and Sol, I knew it was exactly what I had been waiting for. My hope is simple, that no mum should have to feel invisible, unfashionable, or unsupported during one of the most precious seasons of her life.

Rumi and Sol was already a brand built with so much love and intention, every piece was thoughtfully designed with breastfeeding mums in mind by the incredible women who came before me, and I am so proud to carry that legacy forward. My commitment to you, is to continue delivering the same beautiful, high-quality pieces you know and love, while growing this community with the same warmth and care it was founded on. We are a proudly Australian-owned, Brisbane based small business, and we celebrate every body because motherhood looks different on all of us, and every single one of those versions is worthy and beautiful. Frequently asked questions

Do you restock sold out styles? 

Not often no. Unfortunately, at this stage in our business we strive on bringing out new styles and designs. We are conscious about creating small batch collections, as a small business we strive on being and having exclusivity within our brand. If we restock our best sellers, it unfortunately will interrupt our future design process. 
I ordered, but I forgot to add my discount code?

Typically, after orders have been finalised, they cannot be amended. However, reach out and we will see what we can do!
We've having a SALE! 

Read the product and sizing description carefully before purchasing. All sale item purchases are final. We do not exchange, refund or store credit item purchased on sale. This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Rumi and Sol maintains that it is unable to offer pricing amendments on items originally purchased at RRP or in a sale or on any promotional items that are temporarily reduced. Once an item has been purchased at a RRP or discounted sale price, no additional pricing reductions will be offered, should the item be further marker-down. Sale discounts and codes are only available during an advertised sale. Once the sale is over no orders will amended to reflect the sale price if the order was placed outside of the sale timeframe. Only one code can be redeemed per transaction. Gift vouchers can only be redeemed when another code is not being used. Shipping time frames change during a sale due to the high amount of orders that we receive. We have a maximum 10 business day turn around to ship all orders after a sale. 
Are all of your styles your own designs?

Yes! We are very proud to say that all our designs are exclusive to R&S and are designed by both our past and current owners, who have all been breastfeeding mothers!

Shipping & Delivery

How long after ordering will my items be shipped?

As I am a one women show in our packing warehouse. I try to get all orders out within 2 business days of them being placed. During busy sale periods or bigger collection launches it may take me a little longer to get orders out due to volume. This is also including Pre-Order, these will be shipped once product has arrived. 
How much does shipping cost?

Shipping within Australia is a flat rate charge of Standard: $10.00 AUD and Express: $14.95 AUD. 

International shipping will be calculated at check out and can vary depending on product weights.

Is there free shipping?

Yes, we offer free domestic shipping on orders above $200 AUD.
Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We have opened up shipping to a number of international locations and we are adding more as quickly as possible. We now ship to New Zealand, Canada, Germany and the United Kingdom. Shipping rates will varying accordingly.
